National Small Print Exhibition - Kenosh, WI

Well, I didn't make it in to the exhibition. It would seem a bit odd if I had gotten in because I've only made like five blocks in my whole life. I have so much to learn about the process and history. I love waiting weeks for the results, the feeling of getting the judges' envelope in the mail - crossing my fingers and thinking happy thoughts. Sometimes opening the envelope leaves me elated, sometimes not so much. It's like playing the lottery. On better news: Al DID get a piece in the show! CONGRATULATIONS to Al!!!! YAY! You have been accepted into a NATIONAL show!

I picked up my work from the Norris Cultural Center today. I'll be sending off the pieces accepted for the Grand Small Works show in Philadelphia and I'm still preparing for the December show. I didn't have time to prepare anything for the KVAL Egyptian Show, but I wouldn't want to show duplicates for the DAWC show anyway. That is why there haven't been many photos or updated works lately. I don't want to spoil the surprise. If any of you can come, I would enjoy seeing you there!
